Every year we welcome a diverse cohort of students from various socio- economic backgrounds to the Masters program in Sociology. All applicants must have completed an undergraduate degree.
Our program is tailored to individual interests and backgrounds. Therefore, we accept both students with extensive experience in the social sciences, and students who have gravitated toward sociology from other disciplines.
Our student body includes recent graduates from liberal arts programs, and others who have previously completed graduate degrees. We also welcome applicants who have decided to take time away from their professions to devote a year to research, or who would like to switch careers. Our students come from all walks of life and from different parts of the world. This diversity enriches our community, and motivates innovative approaches in sociology as a result of discussions that span disciplines and engage with disparate, but often interconnected themes.
